Fuel and reactor are inseparable
Reactor concepts become credible when paired with qualified fuel and dependable supply chains. In TRISO-based concepts, passive safety arguments often depend on fuel-form retention and temperature feedback effects; qualification evidence is central.

Why gas-cooled context appears
TRISO is frequently associated with helium-cooled high-temperature concepts. Gas coolant avoids some water-related constraints and can be framed for arid or cold environments, depending on deployment context.
